Fun little place, close to lots of other hotels that have bars in their lobbies like the King Eddy or 1 King West; it's across from the Irish embassy pub. All and all, if you're getting a good rate on the room (like 150-200) then it's a good deal for the location, charming architecture and friendly staff. There's no gym on site, but you can get a FOB to use at their sister hotel down the road where you can use their gym there.
No parking is a bummer, would like to see parking validation; for a weekend, you're looking at 80 bucks for parking, so if it came down to the Vic at 180/night versus 1 king west for example at 220/night, then for the parking cost, you're better at 1 king west, because of their amenities for example.
Great location, amazing staff, beautiful room. Had an amazing time. Parking was a challenge at first but we got it…
Bad: We asked housekeeping NOT to do room and it was done. we left behind a gold earring someplace in the room, and we couldn't find it afterwards. Next day, we asked housekeeping to clean up the room and never did.
The staff went beyond the call of duty of locating and sending items accidentally left behind.
It was clean and well kept . Great location close to many amenities .

Nice room and convenient location. Parking is an issue as the nearest lots are very expensive. In the description of the room and rates you need to highlight that there is no on-site parking more clearly. I would not have chosen this property had I known my parking bill would be north of $75 for less than 24 hours.
Good location for metro and central for activities. Very friendly helpful staff
Close to the path, nice staff. Not happy to be put beside the elevator and the bedroom floor is super…
Weekend trip for a show at the Royal Alexandra Theater. We love this location, tons of restaurants within walking distance. Eaton Centre area about 10 min walk. Walk to theater also 10 min. Easy check in with a delightful staff member. Rooms and bathrooms are tiny as with all hotels of this type, but when you're not there much who cares? We were also three adults so could manage sharing one small bathroom (full length mirror outside the bathroom helped). Mini fridge was an unexpected perk; due to small hotel, no ice on every level, have to go to basement - easy or someone from front desk will bring to you. We blew a fuse with hairdryer; a maintenance person came up within five minutes and problem solved. Sadly we forgot a pair of shoes in the closet; happily, hotel kindly accommodated and sent the shoes to us for $25. Love that service! There is no parking specifically at this hotel but there is a structure just around the block on Wellington St (Indigo Pkg Garage), for $30 (American) per night, AND lots of spaces for charging electric vehicles, a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend this lovely place!

We loved this hotel. Our room was big, as we booked a deluxe double queen. The temperature was easy to control and we loved the no carpet. The beds were comfy, the room had a mini fridge and coffee. The only negative was the room was bright in the morning. Darker drakes would have been better.
The best part is the location. We were in walking distance of all the big attractions. The Eaton Center, st Lawrence market, Scotiabank arena. Loved it.
Great location, lots of restaurants nearby, close to the train station, very clean, comfortable bed

Room was very clean, service at front desk was friendly. Room temperature fluctuated between too hot when the heat came on or too cold when the heat was off which made it difficult to sleep. The food and service at the restaurant was not a good experience at all.
Heritage property in great location with very modern updates. Highly recommended.

Good: Location was great! It's very close to the PATH, and guests have access to the gym at a nearby Novotel (5-7 mins walk) which is well equipped. Staff at Hotel Victoria are very friendly and extremely helpful.
Bad: The wifi did not allow myself or my colleagues to connect to our work network - having stayed in many hotels whilst travelling for work, this has never been an issue before. Unfortunately this meant that we had to go to the nearby cafes (often starbucks) which was not convenient or cheap.
Nice place to stay if you are visiting. Situated at main Street and you can easily get to every famous…
Staff was pleasant, cute old building and nice, tidy, cozy rooms. Would stay again. Nice and convenient location for a quick trip to the city. Offsite parking is close enough and the history of the building makes it worth the slight inconvenience.
